How to add tour photos

I just found out that you can't add photos to this blog when you post a comment. Bummer. You will have to make a comment and in it add a link to the photos on something like Flickr or Shutterfly. Here's one of my photos from the Angora Goat farm vist. Miss you all! MJ

Hi all- I just wanted to tell you all that I had a fabulous time on our tour. Spending time with 30 interesting women drinking local wine and playing with fiber is my idea of a perfect vacation! It was really great meeting all of you. Feel free to email me directly at lisa.barnes@classicstage.org. Here's a link to my photos, including my stash from the trip- what great S.E.X! (Angie, you inspired me to buy the Bel Canto alpaca/silk from MJ before I left town). If this link to flickr doesn't work, search for photos by "SedonaKnits" http://www.flickr.com/photos/10812389@N08/sets/72157601199043480
Hope to see more photos from others! Lisa, from Hoboken, NJ

These are great photos, Lisa! Thanks for sharing. Ann sent along some photos, too; and I posted them on flickr at

Hi, everyone. I, too, had a great time on our trip. It was the perfect escape. Lisa, the pictures were great. I enjoyed seeing your stash--it relieved some of my purchasing guilt. What are you going to do with your Bel Canto alpaca/silk? I'll post a picture of my scarf (if I ever figure out how to do such a thing). It's coming out beautiful, thanks to Sara's perfect pattern suggestion. I'm also about 3/4 of the way done with my "candy" yarn sweater, inspired by Pam. Are you finished with yours yet, Pam? I'd love to see it. I would also like to see what some of the spinners and weavers are doing with the fibers they bought... I'm having a little gathering at my house next week to share some of that fine Seneca wine I bought and relive the whole trip with my local knitters.

Thanks again everyone for a fun tour and some lovely memories.

I am still trying to get this right, so hope it works this time. My photos are on the above site. The password is princess. I am having fun figuring out projects for all my new yarn and remebering the great time we had. I miss all of you and hope we'll see each other soon. Norine

ack...i finally got the pictures downloaded from my camera, and now i have to figure out something else... lace and cables are easier, yanno....

the simply enormous box of yarn and stuff i mailed back to home finally caught up with me...christmas all over again :)

spent a good two hours today poring over my weaving books, trying to decide what to do with the yarn from bear farm, have taken to carrying around with me some roving and the dragon spindle i couldn't use at the time i purchased it...but now i can...if you think knitting in public gets you an excess of attention, spindling tops it twice over. haven't tried it in a bar yet, though....

okay...i'll work on access to photos...

Hi again- could I suggest that we create one photo group on whatever site is easiest (flickr, odeo, shutterfly...). Norine, I loved your musings on the trip, and would love to see the photo of the top-down sweater you referred to. Also I couldn't access your shutterfly account without your username. So, how could we create one place for all of us to post our photos? MJ, do you know how?

From Norine to Lisa - That is a great idea, posting all our pictures on one site. I will be glad to do it if someone tells me how because, like everyone else, I do have lots of good pics. Norine
